Iniesta Wishes Cesc Luck For Last Season

Barcelona and Spain star Andres Iniesta has wished Cesc Fabregas well for what he feels will be his “last season” at Arsenal before moving to the Nou Camp.

Barca have been chasing Fabregas for the entire summer, but their public courtship appears unlikely to yield fruit with the Gunners holding firm on what they feel are attempts to unsettle the player and drive his price down.

Several Barca players – including Iniesta, David Villa and Xavi – have expressed their desire to see Fabregas return to the club where he started as a youth, but they now appear resigned to him staying in London for another season.

“Cesc wants to be with us, but he told me how close the Arsenal fans are to his heart,” Iniesta told the News of the World. “He is a special player and I hope he wins the title at Arsenal this season.

“For them to win Cesc will have to stay fit and injury-free but he deserves to finish with a title. For all the work he has put in at Arsenal it would be a shame if it was all fruitless.

“Cesc is such a special player that he could carry a team to the title on his own and I hope he does it this coming season.

“It would be brilliant if Arsenal’s hero could lift the title as captain during his last season.

“I think that it would be fantastic for everybody.”

    Barcelona should admit in shame they have lost out on signing fabregas this season. One would have assumed that with all the noise they made, our captain should be putting on their shirt by now, but as we all can see, it is not about having a loud mouth, but the application of the right strategy and principles. Shame to Barcelona as a club and a bigger shame to their players and fans! Arsenal for life!

    It seems the Swede is a turnip for not wanting to be transferred. Without Ibra transferring to another club for a decent price, then Cesc stays. More should be known today, after a Barça Board meeting.
    From the Financial Accounts of Futbal de Barcelona, Note 15.2 a Phase B Syndicated Loan of €113.9 millions is to be repaid on the 31st December 2010.
    Both Real Madrid and Barça are feckless as the money slushes in from the gormless supporters.

    the thing that annoys me about this spanish twats who keep on talking and trying to persuade cesc to join them is that they talk as if the dude has been on loan at arsenal for the past 7yrs, cesc is on a contract and i believe he was reasonable enough to have accepted the contract. Cesc aint a kid, he should stand up and be a man and not let any of those motherfucking prickholes make a decision for him.

    What Barca have done all summer is Tapping Up to the ESTREME and will go unpunnished. Fifa and Uefa are weak and decrepid. They dont have the balls to take on massive clubs like Barca, Real, Juve, AC Milan, ManU etc.

    So complain to the controlling bodies to re-write and then enforce the current laws that enable clubs like Barca to behave this way.

    Take a page out of the NBA model in the USA where any club representative makes a public comment aimed at unsettling a player from another club, regardless on how subtle the comment may be, is met with very serious financial fines. “Hundreds of thousands of dollars”

    The sheer ammount of Barcas ongoing public comments this summer, under revised laws would of attracted fines in the order of tens of millions of pounds.

    Fifa, Uefa….Come on…Fix this for the betterment of the game!!!!

    I am so sick of this. I wonder if our captain is really committed to the team. If he is, he should say so and tell be Barca cunts to leave him alone.
    I imagine he’s being coy and doesn’t want to upset anyone back home. But we’ve got a season coming up, and we need to focus, we all do.
    So Cesc should commit to Arsenal or go to Barca. I can understand if he wants to go home, but he’s going to sit a lot and watch Xavi and Alonso play instead of being the lynchpin of Arsenal. But still, I can understand if he wants to return home. It must be tough on him.
    For UEFA and FIFA to allow this kind of meddling into out team reveals what a bunch of spineless eunich jellies run that place.
    I hope Cesc stays until he’s 90. I hope Iniesta and Xavi and Villa get a social disease.
