by CARL ELDRIDGE It seems there is no need for Harry Redknapp’s alleged questionable accounting methods to balance the books when it comes to the Arsenal’s wonga. 

The excellent Vic Crescit will no doubt go over the figures with a fine tooth-comb later on, but for now and for the record, let us report that we have announced record pre-tax profits of £56million. Add to that the fact that we have paid off all the debt on their Highbury Square development.

The figures for the year ending May 31, 2010 show pre-tax group profits rose by £10.5million compared to the previous year. The results also showed our group turnover increased to £379.9million, from £313.3million in 2009, helped by the income generated from property sales.

So a good week for all who worship at the Church of Arsenalology and the jubilant fall-out from the walloping of the wheeleer-dealer’s mob continues with new footage emerging of the delerious scenes at Shite Hart Lane.

Home to West Brom tomorrow and AW will give fitness tests to Abou Diaby, Tom Rosicky, Emmanuel Eboue while Alex Song is available again after being suspended for the Carling Cup cruise. We still have Cesc and TV5 missing along with Kieran Gibbs.
