Arsenal will face Barca in the Champions League knockout stage after the draw today in Zurich. The Gunners will play the second game of the clash away from home in Spain after only finishing second in the group stages despite such a commanding start to our CL campaign.
We all know what happened last season against the Spanish giants and there doesn’t seem to be a drop in form from the Nou Camp outfit – if anything they look stronger.
After their 5-0 humiliation of arch-rivals Real Madrid, hailed by some pundits as the best club performance of all time, Barcelona found themselves at the top spot of the Spanish Primera Liga, two points ahead of their detested competitors.
Barcelona are unbeaten in the group stages with four wins including a 5-1 hammering of Panathanaikos for the opener, scoring 14 goals and conceding just three.
It means we face that little genius Lionel Messi again. The Argentinian star has lived up to his reputation as the best player in the world and has scored 17 goals already.
