Desperate times call for desperate measures. I’m talking about the paltry 1,400 tickets we have been allocated for the FA Cup game at Leyton Orient later this month. The demand to get hands on one of these tickets is unreal. So much so that I know of one fan who is offering TWO Carling Cup final tickets for one. TWO! The demand comes because Brisbane Road is so small with a capacity of around 9,000.
Given that there are about 1,200 supporters with away season tickets you can see the problem. Only fans who have acquired 60 away match credits can apply and the club are saying these are ‘subject to availability’. Nightmare, especially for a good mate of mine who goes everywhere and has 57! Best of luck with this, Colonel!
On to the game tomorrow and team news is that we will be without Alex Song for the Premier League trip to Newcastle, but Theo has shaken off an ankle problem. Sebastien Squillaci returns from suspension, but Denilson and Samir Nasri are out injured.
