RVP out but Cesc back in for Barca

Robin van Persie is a major doubt for our Champions League game against Barcelona next week. But Cesc should be fit. But to make matters worse it as it emerged that TV5 will not be fit enough to make his long-awaited comeback for the reserves against West Ham.
To add insult to injury after we were outdone yet again by a late goal against Brum at Wembley, RVP injured his right knee during the process of  scoring our goal against the Blues.
It is reported that our medical staff will continue to assess the Dutchman today but he faces a fight to be fit for next week’s journey to the Catalan capital. AW had also hoped TV5 would return to action since ,being out since August with an achilles injury and that would play for the reserves but it is understood he will not be fit .
Meanwhile some better news is that Cesc should recover from the hamstring injury that kept him out on Sunday, but AW says Theo Walcott is ‘very unlikely’ to face Barcelona after spraining an ankle in the win over Stoke.
Orient at home in the FA Cup replay and it seems the bloke who got their leveller, Jonathan Tehoue, is a big doubt for tomorrow after being sent home with a migraine. (I know how you feel mate I had a headache most of yesterday). O’s boss Russell Slade said the League One side’s striker, 26, was “very poorly” and under the care of the club doctor. Sounds loike a ruse to me.
BTW, if any of you still have the ztomach to watch the glorious Gunners after the horror of Sunday, I have quite a few spares – including pairs – for the game.
