Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere still believes they can win the Premier League title this season, despite their latest setback at West Brom.
The Gunners drew 2-2 at The Hawthorns, and despite having a game in hand, have drawn their last two league games in a row to slip five points behind leaders Manchester United.
Wilshere accepts that Arsenal were not good enough against the Baggies, but believes they can respond, and will fight United til the end, pointing in particular to their visit to the Emirates towards the end of the season.
“We were a bit sloppy, but showed great character to come back from that and have to push on now,” Wilshere said.
“There are nine games left and we really have to go to it.
“United still have to come to the Emirates, and we will have to beat them there – from now, that is the biggest we have to look forward to. Until then, we will just have to win every game.
“We all feel we are still their main challengers and in the dressing room, we believe we can win it.
“Hopefully the fans do too, because we need them behind us as well.”
