REST OF SEASON PREDICTION: Truth hurts doesn’t it? Cesc is leaving so finally he can get truthy for once and the nutty professor doesn’t like it.

Is there any good news after another disasterous season? The good news is it will be tricky for Man City to knock us out of third alhough not impossible (based on my predictions below) if we really implode. But probably impossible for Tottenham to catch us – thank goodness, that humiliation would be too much.

However we go to Bolton knowing Man U won today and the title is over. (Arsene can you admit this now?) So with nothing to play for, based on our poor performance when there was everything to play for, and our captain and god knows who else packing their bags, these are predictions for rest of season are more of the same, lame, underachieving, to wit:

Bolton – draw, traditional bogey team, they will run into us, we will fall over.They score from a corner.

Man U – lose, of course, 3.0 because according to Cesc the team is “scared” of them. Nani will run up the wing and cross it in hard and low for someone to tap in and we will be so surprized, once again.

Stoke – draw or lose: likely to expose our weakness in air and loft long balls all day. Look for the “usual” goal we concede from a set piece. Having just come off another embarassing crushing from Man U wont help.

Villa – draw, we have a habit of throwing away leads against Villa, like nearly all teams these days, they fancy their chances with us.

Fulham – draw: no one on our team or the fans will care by then.

All of this will give us maybe 6 points probably enough to stay ahead of City.

Lets hope this season is the final end of the era of the great (?) “lost” team of 2007-11 that never delivered, and the end of AW. I have been a gooner since 71 and its definitely time for change.

Bit of gossip for you….. Marco van Basten stayed at the same hotel as stan k last week and they had a meeting room booked….. You heard it here 1st (I’ll deny ever repeating it if my mate gets in trouble)
