Arsenal have captured the signing of Charlton’s young defender, Carl Jenkinson.
The Finnish Football Association have confirmed that the 19-year old has signed for The Gunners for a compensation package of around £1m was agreed, after a £3m fee was originally planned.
Jenkinson is a versatile player who is able to play as a full-back, a centre-back and also as a holding midfielder.
