Thierry Henry is urging all Arsenal fans to continue believing in Arsene Wenger.
The Arsenal legend recently admitted that he is “suffering” after witnessing another disappointing season for The Gunners.
However, the 33-year old Frenchman is asking all fans to trust in Wenger as he believes, he is the man who will bring back to glory days to the club who have gone six years without a trophy.
“When you play for Arsenal, there is always criticism. But I feel like any other fan. I’m like the rest of the team right now, I’m suffering.
“But we have to help and believe in that team. They had the potential to win this season, they’ve always been so close to winning but sometimes fall short. I think the team can do it and I hope that the boss stays because he is a very important person right there for that organisation.”
Henry will be returning to London in the summer, when we’ll welcome the New York Red Bulls who are one of the four participants in this year’s Emirates Cup.
“It will be a good feeling. To see Arsenal’s people again, the employees who work there, the players, the fans, the boss.
I love the people, the fans, the people who work there from the chef to the guy who takes care of the field.”
Henry also stated that he has no intentions on returning to playing football in Europe again and will look to finish his career in the US.
