We’re Up For An Award

Thanks to readers of this blog we have been put forward to the second stage in the “Best Blog” and “Best Premier League Blog” catergories.

The New Football Pools Fanzine Awards 2007/2008 are all about celebrating the passion, talent, creativity and dedication of the people who make up the media of the fans – the fanzines.

Get involved and show your appreciation – this is your chance to nominate and vote for your favourite fanzine in the inaugural New Football Pools Fanzine Awards 2007/2008 powered by The Football Fans Census.

These unique Awards, open to both online and print fanzines, are designed to recognise and reward the wordsmiths telling the unofficial story of the beautiful game. The people who write the texts that keep us in touch with the real deal, who create the places where we can vent our spleen, who spark debates that stir our passions, or who just help us eek out the last moments before it’s time to go home.
