Arsenal Football Club are set to sign Joel Campbell, from Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa.
The 19-year old striker is also a member of the Costa Rican national team. He played three times, scoring one goal at this year’s Copa America.
Having been left out of the squad for the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, Nicklas Bendtner is certain to leave The Gunners this summer, and it appears that Arsene Wenger has found a replacement in a deal that will be worth around £930,000.
In other news, Arsenal have finally announced the official signing of Ivory Coast star Gervinho, on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.
