It hasn’t been one bad season in 15 its been I would say, about 4 or 5. I will exclude 05/06 because we got to the CL final even though we only just scraped 4th place on the last day of the season.

But how long can wenger rely on his record of the first 8 years at arsenal where he had success? Its already been 6 years without any. another couple of seasons (and if we win anything this year then i’ll be shocked) and he will have gone for half his arsenal career without a trophy. Is the success of those glorious 8 years enough to allow him 8 years of failure?

lol. don’t mean to mock mate but 41 signitures? How long has the petition been going? And 1 person signed it twice without bothering to use a different name, one person is rather suspiciously called ‘Arsene’ and another person wrote “please spend some money, I’m fed up of not challenging for the title anymore”!

Benitez spent something like £200 million in about 3 or 4 seasons! With that kind of investment you would hope they would win something. Also I seem to remember them getting quite lucky with who they played against in that champions league run but I could be wrong

By the time the window closes we could be out of the champions league, and have 1 point from a possible 9 in the league and effectively be out of the title race after 3 games.

Not that any Arsenal fans were expecting us to win the league but by not acting now (ie get somebody to play against Udinese) we are making it so much more difficult for ourselves if we are to finish in the top 4 which is probably the most realistic thing we can hope for this season. 

The interest comes from the everton chairman stating there in a bad situation with debtand that they might have to sell he also said they cant buy a player unless they sell. . . so Arsenal sittin with 40m+ should consider taking advantage!! yes Baines would be a great signing!! as would jagielka and imo, Arteta

MARK the rules coming in wont change anything,  The money Arsenal generate is what they can spend??????  it couldn’t be more simple! wenger is a great manager but if he used Arsenal’s natural resources he and the team would be even better…  and the same goes for the next manager, for example if guardiola, redknapp, moyes, oneill,  was in charge of Arsenal and had around 35m a season to spend ( which is within are natural resources ) do you think they would hold back? ? ? ? ? ?   THE ARSENAL FANS ARE NOT ASKING FOR MUCH M8 JUST SPEND WHAT WE HAVE TO HELP THE TEAM………
