Wenger to take Cahill to Arsenal in £16.6million swoop

As the transfer windows edges closer to the end so does a conclusion to the Gary Cahill transfer saga. Arsenal have been linked with a move for Bolton’s strong solid leader Gary Cahill all summer, and with only one season remaining before leaving on a free it looks like wenger is about to pay up and get his man for a reported £16.6 million fee.

This deal could drag on until the final few days of the transfer window but a source inside the club has confirmed the bid is being lined up if, as reported, a third  Jagielka bid fails which looks very likely at the moment.

It is being reported that the third bid for Phil Jagielka is around £13.4 million and Everton are still demanding a fee closer to £15 million mark.

The source confirmed that Arsenal have finally made an enquiry for Gary Cahill: “Wenger does not want to spark a bidding war in the final few days of the transfer window for a player that is in his last year of he’s contract, so he is trying to keep this on a low.

“The reason Wenger did not go in for Cahill earlier was because of his age. Cahill is younger then Jagielka and he’s peak is from now and possibly for another 5 Years, whereas in Jagielka case he could possible only have another 2/3 strong seasons.”

Wenger has al ot of faith in Koscienly, Miquel and Bartley and does not want to ruin there future progression at Arsenal, Wenger believes they will become World class centre backs in the next couple of years.

The source added: “Wenger wants to gradually bring in Miquel and Bartley in the squad in the next few years, he has a lot of belief and faith in the pair and he currently sees Vermaelen and Koscienly as perfect pairing with a lot of ability and strength to push Arsenal into winning silverware.”

But now with constant injuries to our first team defence, and the inexperience, mistakes and errors made by youth, his trust in youth policy is gradually changing because it is time for Wenger to move in and secure the signing of experienced centre back who can come in straight away with a strong ability and do the job for years to come.

I am  expecting Wenger to follow up his enquiry with a bid for Cahill by the end of this week.

      To be fair I don’t trust these media animals. They always try to destabilize us. I’ve been critical regarding Wenger, sometimes I even wanted him out. I still support him. Why? What’s behind the scenes? The fucking owner/board does not back him up properly. I think he’s made/forced to cover these animals. Apart from that I feel sick how they try to turn us against him. Yes he failed in a couple of things, but still whoever is at the helm I will support him. This season will define his future for sure. Whatever happens to him the future generations from the distance of time will celebrate him. Brian Clough finished his career in sad circumstances, still everybody admits his stature. Now spend the fucking money now that we qualified and show these media animals and us, that you still know best. If you do so soon 95% of the supporters will rally under your flag. By the way everyone who knows me knows that I hate the hardcore AKBs, but I don’t want my club to lose its stature as a top team. I cannot force Wenger to do anything, therefore I have to support him. I would fire Gazidis, the medical team and also get a proper defensive coach.

    RTK, I’ve been saying for weeks we need to
    unite, and after tonights result I think we will.  As for SKY & The
    Mirror (not forget TalkSport) they are pure anti-Arsenal to the core. They’ve
    taken this period of uncertainty to go on the propoganda offensive against
    Arsenal and may I say Wenger in particular. It’s got personal.  You even have Martin Samuel (who is normally
    decent) comparing him today to a washed up Frank Sinatra.

     

    Like a member of your family, it’s
    ok for you to say something to/about them but someone else says something and
    you go get all protected – and that’s how I feel with the likes of John Cross
    WHO IS SUPPOSE TO BE AR ARSENAL FAN. 
    Have you ever heard this geezer speak? 
    His monotone voice matches his “journalism”.

     

    Here’s hoping we can buy a
    couple of quality players, get a result this Sunday, then get the jinxy
    International break out the way  -
    before we start the fightback!

    Big Samba will do for 12m!!  in midfield pffff its anybodys guess  kaka would be nice as would arteta ( both creative ) up front well i’d love an experienced finisher in the mould of tevez or forlan but to expensive/old for wenger!! tho if bentner leaves then kevin doyle would be a decent replacement for him simply for his  “work rate” alone. . .
