Glam Gooner gal Jules signs for Arsenalinsider

Arsene Wenger eventually made some significant signings as the transfer window slammed shut with Mike Arteta arguably being the pick of the bunch of the new recruits for the Gunners.

But AW isn’t the only one who has been busy tracking down top talent to represent the Arsenal. Here at Arsenalinsider we’re proud to announce we’ve snapped up our own star name…welcome Jules Wheeler, AKA The RealGunner.

Each week Jules, who has been a Goonerette for the past 21 years, will be bringing us her strident views on all things Arsenal with a video blog after key games. She plans to interview Arsenal fans before and after the game and we’re sure you’ll catch her at the Emirates with our TV crew.

Jules is a big hit with Gooners on Twitter and her bio says: “Views from a real AFC footie chick, who knows her club, the game & takes no prisoners! A Glamorous Gooner who is a fan, model, presenter & sports journalist.”

Her first contribution will be coming at you tomorrow after the home game in the Premier League against Swansea. If you want a taster of what our very own ‘model’ supporter is all about go to

But don’t drawn in, chaps. She’s not just a pretty face and if she has to be hard-hitting, you can bet she will be…stay tuned!

I know for a fact that it wasn’t AW fault. The board and the guy who deals with the transfers needs to be looked at…especially where the Cahill deal was concerned. He went to Everton twice to sign him and came back twice without signing him. I do think that Everton made a big mistake there, They were holding out for more money in the hope that other clubs would show interest and force the price up. Instead, they are left with a player who will now be able to leave fr free next summer.
