Raging Cesc’s Twitter rant at Arsenal ‘lies’

Cesc Fabregas has furiously denied bad-mouthing the Arsenal and insisting he didn’t leave, as claimed in an interview, because the Gunners couldn’t win silverware in the next few years.

Cesc-gate erupted yesterday with a supposed interview in which the Barcelona midfielder set out his reasons for quitting the Emirates, chief amongst them was the percieved inability for Arsene Wenger to steer the club to some trophies any time soon.

But using his Twitter acount Cesc hit back. He tweeted: “I’d never speak 1 bad word about AFC, here there’s once more proof that so many people put in newspapers what they want and it’s not professional. I want Arsenal to be successful as much as every single fan. That’s not why I left, it was never on my mind. AFC made me who I am today.

“And nobody will ever change that. I never gave any interview away since my press conference at my presentation, and there I just said… The truth and what came out of my heart. Great words this great football club cause that’s just what they deserve: success and trophies.”

Nice one, Cesc – always have a place in Arsenal hearts, I reckon…

      he’s a effin legend for the gunners even though he didn’t won anything with us.
      he’s a effin idol to all the footballers out there, including me. his touches and passes is majestic. He’s a one greatful gunner player(was) & fan, unlike na$ri.

        What is wrong with you? Why are you idolising players? I Love arsenal not any players in the team, even worse to idiolising players who ain`t here? Cesc is no arsenal legend, if he is the club is in a worso state than I thought. Cesc left for practically nothing, and you love him for that……..

          No brother. He gave us a lift for years. Without him there could have been Europa League instead of the CL. The club is before everybody, but you tend to forget the club legends. Without them the club is like a star without light. By the way Henry left for Barca as well and can you say he was not a superstar. Do you hate him? Fabregas was not lucky. He had Denilson and company instead of Pires, Bergkamp …. I’m angry for the cheap price as well, but it could only happen because we have soft dick leadership. Gazidis shite, Hill-Wood shite. I agree with you to concentrate on the here and now and win, win, win. What others do is secondary. Still you have to give respect where it’s due.
