Gunners continue ticket reduction policy for Man City clash

Gunners continue ticket reduction policy for Man City clash

Arsenal offer tickets from only £5 for Carling Cup tie

Arsenal Football Club has announced that it is continuing its reduced ticket price approach for the forthcoming Carling Cup Quarter Final clash with Manchester City.

All tickets for the cup-tie, for which the date is still to be confirmed, are being reduced in line with the Club’s ongoing ticket policy for Carling Cup matches.

For this huge cup clash with Manchester City, all tickets for the upper tiers in the stadium will be priced at £20, with all lower tier tickets priced at £10.

In addition to these reduced prices, Senior Citizens and Children (referred to as concessions in the booking process) will be able to purchase tickets with even further discounts, priced at just £10 for upper tier tickets and £5 in the lower tier.

Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said: “Our supporters have been fantastic this season and more than 100,000 fans bought tickets for our third and fourth round games against Shrewsbury and Bolton Wanderers. We are delighted to again be offering heavily reduced ticket prices for this exciting cup-tie with Manchester City. It gives many supporters who are unable to attend matches regularly the chance to see their team in action.”

A huge cup clash ?..fans are not stupid, you only give tickets away when you deem it a non event, or an opening night to draw in the crowds, so saying it is a huge cup clash is bloody ridiculous..great scheme, well done Arsenal but just be honest and say it is to get people interested, like it matters if you win or lose that shitty game in the scale of things.

and it is nice to see, but this to me signals everything that is wrong with the game, Football has killed itself, when you beat us in 87 in the semi final of the league cup I couldn’t talk for weeks, gutted pure and simply gutted..
now we tonk each other 5-1 in it and don’t give a shit playing kids, reserves..totally lost all respect for the competition, I now feel the same about the FA Cup that has lost it’s appeal, and the World Cup is pointless I see the worlds best players every fortnight arsing about playing rubbish teams until it gets serious in February..Boring Boring Boring !..so the moan is actually at how football has killed itself and this concession is an indication of how crap football is now..in 87 people would have been queuing for it, which indicates further still that most true spurs and arsenal fans are in their late 40′s early 50′s and don’t bother anymore..when we beat Chelsea it was nice in the final because of who it was but a year later losing to Man United I didn’t give a toss, losing to portsmouth in the fa cup semi final..I was right as rain again in 15 minutes..this season I am enjoying the prem and the rivalry in all 3 clubs chelsea, arsenal spurs but anything else is shite…tonight who are we playing in the mickey mouse nod bod europa league ? waste of time all of it !

Furthermore you can take a player like Mertsacker on a ridiculous wage and in truth he is no better than tommy caton ..he is certainly not as good as Bould, Linigan, Adams, etc..so wages rising, standard getting worse, nonsense all of it we are all on here out of habit rather than being ‘in love’ with the game..like aaron lennon or theo walcott are as good as Waddle or Merson ..pure garbage!

Must admit, watching Arsenal win the ’87 Littlewoods Cup was fantastic.

I got in for free, at the ‘free gate’. This was a Wembley by-law, whereby limited free tickets had to be provided to people at events held on a Sunday.

Narrow minded view again. This gives kids a chance to come and watch world class players that they would not usually be able to see. We will still make more revenue than spurs do for a league game.

If the regular prices were cheaper they would not have to act like they are doing us a favour, everything about the emirates is too expensive, beer, food etc, maybe if the prices were lower people would go to the stadium earlier and stay longer if it was more fan friendly?

The Prices for food etc are set by “Delaware” who have a 25 year contract with Arsenal, who have no control over their pricing, thanks to former CEO Keith Elderman.

world class players are RVP and Modric ..there is not one other player in either squad who is world class..and to be fair RVP is nowhere near as good as Ian Wright and Modric couldn’t lace Micky Hazards boots never mind Hoddles..Jack Wilshire isn’t as good as Brady was, it is debatable if he is as good as Rocastle was at the same age..world class ? you gottta be shitting me !
