Arsenal to face AC Milan in Champions League

Arsenal will play AC Milan in the Champions League knockout stages after the draw was made in Nyon this morning.

 That is a toughie, Jeez.

Arsene Wenger’s side finished top of Group F and were seeded and now face the prospect of a mouth-watering tie. Prior to the draw for the last 16, AW said: “You cannot avoid anybody so the wishes you have are useless anyway. What we want is to qualify.

“What is a good draw? You might say Basel but they were a very difficult opponent for Man United, so you have just to take the draw as it is, analyse their team and try to win the game. I don’t know what is the most difficult, the team that maybe plays in the most difficult championship like the Italian teams. They have a history, like Milan. But again, you don’t know what is toughest.”

Why is it a bad draw? I was there in 08 and we beat them 2-0 in the San Siro. Is a great draw. I am confident.

they won it in 2007… they had the likes of kaka and pato running wild… even though they got a better team(as in world stars) they i dont think are as good as they were in 2008

    Brianpat02 and Rockingunners,

What a pair of dead-beats!  Just the kind of supporter who will boo his own team.

Have you no faith in the club you purport to support?  We haven’t walked out onto the pitch and you’re already writing the team off.

You should be ashamed of yourselves!

John, I read a few days ago that he ordered a pizza in Denmark and didn’t have the funds to pay for it, that I find difficult to comprehend, the story later went on to say he was heard to say “don’t you know who I am”, two girls paid his bill, he then left in a taxi so don’t know if he just expected the food free of charge. The man’s a dick.

Has Bendtner burnt his boats at Arsenal?

The Danish striker with an ego that dwarfs his ability was arrested and bailed after three cars were damaged in Newcastle City Centre.

Bendtner, who was arrested along with Lee Cattermole, has previous for drunkenness and has said that he doesn’t wish to return to Arsenal when his loan period at Sunderland expires.

I suspect that Martin O’Neil will not be too pleased with his antics and Arsene Wenger will hardly kill the fatted calf on his behalf.

Time for Niklas to start looking for a new club, as he seems to be not cut out for the Premiership perhaps a move to Scotland could be on the cards.

I, for one, will not be sorry to see the back of him.

i will rate our defense live over AC defense line, its obvious they have good attackers but in the middle they can not compete and this where arsenal will own the games and be victorious
