Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain helped Chelsea overcome a strong Arsenal side 3-1 recently. Even Fernando Torres scored.
What’s this? A premonition, perhaps? No, this did happen recently, when the Ox took on other Arsenal players in a FIFA 13 game tournament. Quite why some players had to play as teams other than Arsenal isn’t really known, or why Oxlade-Chamberlain felt it was acceptable to win against his employers, but those involved in the impromptu tournament seemed to be having fun. We don’t know if Arsene Wenger took on Steve Bould, but maybe that’s for the best, as we’re unsure of the manual dexterity of the Arsenal older guard.
Regardless, you can see the short clip of the event below, and be happy knowing that at least one “trophy” is already at the Emirates this season.
