Disaster in Munich

There’s really not a lot you can say after the result in Munich. After such a promising first half going into the dressing room level at 1-1, the team finally imploded in the second half, losing 5-1. It was another poor performance in the Champions League for the club. The knives will certainly be out and the result leaves every Arsenal supporter wondering, “what now for Wenger?”

Bye Bye Sanchez

That is according to Pat Nevin. He felt, after the 4th goal went in, that Sanchez stopped running and his head dropped. Although you could probably say that about all the Arsenal players on the pitch. Nevin stated he would be stunned if Sanchez does sign a new contract.

Next stop Asia

According to reports ex-Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is set to sign for Japanese club Vissel Kobe, having been limited to game time at Galatasaray.

PSG

After their surprising demolition of Barcelona, two PSG midfielders were once again linked with the club. Adrien Rabiot and Blaise Matuidi, who would both strengthen the team, do have many suitors. However, and especially after their performances against Barcelona, they would both demand a large fee.

One stays, one goes?

Charlie Nicholas feels if Mesut Ozil does get round to signing a new contract then it would be curtains for Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal career. Champagne Charlie feels both players are similar and if Ozil stays there is no room for Jack. But as Nicholas said, it’s a big IF, as far as Ozil signing is concerned.

Partey in Madrid

Atletico Madrid have extended Thomas Partey’s contract in an attempt to put off any bids from Arsenal or West Ham. Both clubs are rumoured to be interested in the Ghanaian international.

Pep loves Jack

Well that is according to Xavi, who told Fox Latin America, that Pep has always been impressed with Jack Wilshere and could make a shock bid in the summer. As long as Jack Wilshere manages to stays fit.

Turkish Delight…Possibly

According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce are interested in signing Santi Cazorla. The 32-year-old is currently out injured with an ankle injury having had two operations so far. Reports did state Arsenal had activated an option to increase Cazorla’s contract for another year, but so far this has not been confirmed by the club. Fenerbahce are watching closely to see how this one progresses.
