We don't need reminding that we are in desperate need of a new No.1 and reports suggest AZ Alkmaar’s £8million rated Argentina international Sergio Romero would fit the bill for the glorious Gunners. I can't help but think that Joe Hart is a better fit, though, given his knowledge of the Premier League and his outstanding displays against teams and strikers he will be facing again next season, hopefully in an Arsenal shirt.

Then there is Fiorentina's French keeper Sebastien Frey, a player AW has reportedly had on his radar for some time. Frey is 30 (not that old for a No.1) and given that the boss seems to have changed his mind about signing older players (Sol Campbell) this move could make sense. Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern Munich are also being linked with Frey after a fine season in Serie A.
