Porto – Hull City Away

championsleague1An excellent win last night against Porto sees us into the draw for the Champions League quarter finals. This will take place on Friday week 19 March at UEFA HQ in Nyon, Switzerland at 11.00am GMT. Our road to the final in Real Madrid’s Estadio Bernabéu will be clear. The draw for the semi-finals will be made at the same time. The draw will be broadcast live via the UEFA website at www.uefa.com and on Eurosport. aaron-ramseySaturday was our first match post Aaron Ramsey’s horrible injury away to Stoke City in the Potteries. The players ran out wearing t-shirts over their jerseys with “GET WELL AARON” and his squad number 16 on the back.  Wales similarly appeared in t-shirts bearing the legend GET WELL SOON RAMBO! fabregas03092008by CARL ELDRIDGE It's the news that we were fearing, Cesc Fabregas is out of our Champions League clash with Porto tomorrow night after he limped out of the win over Burnley on Saturday. Arsene Wenger had said that he would gamble with Cesc but it is obviously a gamble not worth taking.
