Josh reviews the upcoming Arsenal youth potential

This time last year, I think during another dull international break, I had a look at the reserves and which players will make an impact, albeit in the Carling, on the First Team this season.  I thought I would do that again as the only news out of the club at the moment is the scheduled injury to an important back up centre back (Johan Djourou for those who are unaware)
   

Reserves: Brum 0 – 4 Arsenal – Gunners show their class!

Following on from a 3 – 0 victory over Fulham, Arsenal’s Reserve side picked apart a strong Birmingham team that featured Kevin Phillips and Gary McSheffrey up front. At St. Andrews Neil Banfield made 5 changes to the team that overturned Fulham.

Banfield boys relish Fulham challenge

by CARL ELDRIDGE Neil Banfield gets the chance to blood another crop of youngsters tonight as the Arsenal second string kick off their Barclays Premier Reserve League campaign against Fulham at Barnet's Underhill.And a certain Arsene Wenger will probably be in the stands checking the progress of the next batch of promising players coming through the Gunners ranks.
   

Premier Academy League & Premier Reserve League South…

It’s a big week of football for the club what with the Celtic clash being followed by a Saturday game against Portsmouth in the Premier League but it’s not just the first team that will be busy. This weekend also sees the Premier Academy League kick off as Arsenal’s young guns are away to Sheffield United on Saturday.
