It’s back to the Barclays Premier League fixture against none other than the out of form, misleading and miserable team of Liverpool!

We’ve shared some great memories down Anfield during the years gone by with the first coming to mind THAT goal scored by Michael Thomas, while in recent years times have become more frustrating, especially in the Champions League!

I don’t want to be too optimistic but how I would love to make Liverpool’s run even worst would be an icing on the cake. Torres seems to be back in contention after recovering from his hernia problem, while Aquilani could be starting also. I must say, I do rate the guy. Wenger has been a fan of his since his playing days at Roma. As normal, the scousers depend too much on specific individuals and expect him to be a lifesaver for all their problems this season. While all the headlines seem to be upon “savour” Aquilani, personally I think Benayoun will be our threat, while Liverpool’s season is on a slump, he seems to be vastly improving as a quality player.

Now, enough of Liverpool, time for our boys!

As of writing this Diaby and Eduardo are both doubtful with their injuries, while Van Persie, Rosicky, Gibbs, Bendtner, Clichy, Eboue and Djourou are all our other absentees. Song is also back in contention after his domestic ban.

Hopefully us Gooners are in loud voice as always at Anfield, we always bring massive support up north with us and hopefully we can edge some much needed 3 points. Manchester United entertain Aston Villa on Saturday, while the Tottenham face Wolves, whatever the final table is on Sunday evening its sure getting a little crowded between 3rd and 6th place!
