Arsenal are chasing £20 Million rated Borussia Dortmund star Julian Weigl. The highly rated 20 year-old has been a revelation for the Bundesliga side this season, winning the league’s Young Player of the Year award.

Signed from 1860 Munich last summer for just €2.5m, the 20-year-old is a tall and elegant midfielder who has become the fulcrum of the Dortmund revival under Thomas Tuchel, capable of dictating play thanks to his impressive range of passing.
Weigl was rewarded for his impressive form with an international call-up making his debut on Sunday against Slovakia.
The midfielder is a workhorse in the centre of the park and can unlock a defence with his passing game.
His form throughout the entire season was immense, and he is certainly one of the hottest prospects in European football. However, with some big clubs interested, Dortmund may struggle to hold onto the young star, and their resolve may be tested with Arsenal preparing a £20 million bid.
However, it remains early days, and if the young star travels to Euro 2016, then we may not see a development for a number of weeks.
