Monaco have reportedly rejected a £12.9million offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Arsenal and Manchester United target Layvin Kurzawa, according to the Express.
The French left-back is one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe after making his full international debut earlier in the month and at 22, the Ligue 1 ace is a potentially world class talent, showing great attacking ability from the back to attract interest from bigger clubs including Manchester City and Chelsea.
Kurzawa has been previously linked with a move to the English top flight as the Gunners and the Red Devils both monitor his situation.
Kurzawa seems keen on leaving Monaco this summer, and it looks like the Premier League duo will need to act quickly after the Ligue-1 side rejected a £12.9million offer from French rivals Paris Saint-Germain.
It seems that Monaco will allow the highly-rated left back to depart if a club can reach their valuation of £18 million.
United are one of the few clubs that have the spending power, especially after the sale of Angel di Maria to PSG earlier this month and are hoping to bring Kurzawa to give Luke Shaw some competition, while the Gunners will see Kurzawa as an upgrade to Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs.
What is clear is that if you were to bet on the Premier League this season, Layvin Kurzawa would certainly strengthen Arsenal’s efforts.
