Arsenal have cancelled their plans to go to Austria for next season’s pre-season tour, and look destined to make the far-from-routine trip to Asia or The US.
We can reveal that the club have cancelled their provisional hotel booking and will now make more lucrative plans by visiting either The US, or Asia.
With Stan Kroenke being the new man at the helm, this was always going to happen. He’s a businessman who intends “to build on our rich heritage and take our club to new success” while also possessing the ambition to “run the club in a way which protects our long term future”.
Arsene Wenger will be upset by this, but this is arguably the best option for us in the short-term – which will ultimately allow us to be successful in the long-term.
But as a fan who has enjoyed multiple trips to Bad Waltersdorf, I’ll selfishly admit that I’m rather disappointed by this news. The trips to BW were like no other.
