Adrien Rabiot’s agent Arnaud Pericard has denied links claiming his client is in talks over a move to Napoli.
The 20 year-old has struggled to nail down a regular starting role with Paris Saint-Germain in recent seasons, which is little surprise given the wealth of talent vying for game time at the Parc Des Princes.
Rabiot is now eager to secure a move away from the French champions, although a loan deal is said to be a priority at present.
Tottenham and Arsenal have both been linked with moves for the young French star over the past two seasons, and the latter are firmly believed to be in the market for midfield additions this January. Should the Gunners land Rabiot one would have to be tempted to use a bet365 offer code to back Arsene Wenger’s side to go on and win the Premier League this season.
The Gunners have lost Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla to injury of late, adding to the sidelined Jack Wilshere, and will be keen to bolster in a bid to keep in the title race until the season’s end.
Napoli has been ruled out as a potential destination for Rabiot, with his agent joking he may go there on holiday, but not for football.
Pericard said: “Rabiot to Napoli? Maybe on holiday… Nobody has contacted me from the Italian club.
“It is true that Rabiot has asked to leave on loan, but at the moment he is playing consistently.
“He was a starter against Shakhtar and against Lyon, things could therefore change and he could finally decide to stay at PSG.”
