Wenger replacement?

According to reports in Italy Massimiliano Allegri has told friends he is set to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal’s new manager.

Apparently he has told his closest friends, which makes you wonder if they are friends at all as someone has clearly shared this information or if some reports are to be believed, he was overhead at dinner with friends, or could it be another vicious rumour?

Coleman on Ramsey

Wales’s manager Chris Coleman considers Aaron Ramsey a great player and feels the criticism of him is unfair. Coleman added that he feels Ramsey is an easy target for the boo boys. Ramsey on the other hand has come to the defence of Arsene Wenger by admitting the players have let Wenger down.

Social Media

You have to love Social Media, one slip of the finger and all hell breaks loose, just ask Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The latest slip or maybe just because he wanted to press like, involves Granit Xhaka. Apparently social media went into a frenzy after the Switzerland international liked a picture on Instagram of Alexandre Lacazette. Rumours are now circulating that Arsenal may try and sign the striker….again! Watch this space.

Add to that Alexis Sanchez posting a picture of himself on a beach smiling and social media is close to melt down. How dare these footballers send out cryptic messages of their holiday snaps?

Transfer news

Arsenal have reportedly missed out on Domenico Berardi after it was reported that Inter Milan have already reached an agreement to sign the winger in the summer. The Italian has scored seven goals and made four assists in 14 matches so far this season for his club US Sassuolo.

The Daily Mail has been reporting that Arsenal are interested in signing PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The 21 year old French international has recently mentioned he would consider offer from other big European clubs.

Academy Role

According to reports in The Telegraph, Mark Warburton has held talks with the club and could replace Andries Jonker as the head of the academy. Whether the role would suit Warburton after his role as manager as Glasgow Rangers remains to be seen. Warburton was involved in launching the Under 19 NextGen Series which lasted for 2 years before the tournament was cancelled due to a lack of funding.

Early Team News

With Santi Cazorla out injured for the season and Mohamed Elneny walking around with a boot cast, the news that Aaron Ramsey has returned to first team training will be welcome to the club who are short of midfield options.
