Arsenal have agreed with Freddie Ljungberg that he is welcome back to the club if things should change at his new club Wolfsburg. Wenger has said he had been impressed by Ljungberg and his coaching with the Under 15s and would welcome him back at any stage.
Lukas Podolski has now confirmed he is moving to Japan to play in the J-league. Podolski will leave Galatasary at the end of the season to join up with his new club Vissel Kobe. Podolski has won the Turkish Cup and Turkish Super Cup in his time playing in Turkey.

Arsenal agreed to take 17-year-old wonder kid Marcelo Allende on trial. Dubbed the next Alexis Sanchez, the Chilean midfielder currently plays for Deportes Santa Cruz. Allende was even given the opportunity to train with the first team. There is no news yet on whether he has signed a contract.
