    Our team picks itself today.

    …Walcott…..van Persie……Nasri.

Good enough to beat the Unspeakables?

Of course it is ..One nil to the Arsenal

Better change the photo at the top of the blog, Old Red Nose isn’t smiling now!!!

    Cesc Who?? We’ve got Ramsey!!

  4. Where was this Arsenal team?! They crushed Man United…where were they?!!! Amazing result…This victory was more of an aplogitic victory than it is a 3 point gain..when Arsene Wenger said “I believe in this team” I bet he meant that team who won in a very convincing fashion..If only they showed that kind of spirit from start of the season…great win..

  5. Absolutely thrilled ! , now suddenly you all see what I have been saying for months that Cesc is not needed and more importantly you are all behind Wenger again and it has all been swept under the carpet,
    Truly fantastic news !

All of us? erm, that’s three actualy Bigsy.

  7. I still very much hope that Cesc will stay. Why can’t we rotate them? We keep going on about how its a squad game and that we lack strength in depth so I don’t think we should think its now okay to sell our captain because rambo has come back and played well today.

And by the way, although ramsey was good, I don’t think he was at his best and before half time he was looking tired so expect him to get better and better as he gets match fitness, practice and confidence.

And i’ve just watched the recording of the analysis on sky and sounness got it right regarding song. He was good today because he wasn’t trying to be like Cesc. He is tactically stupid in most games and he tries to go forward, which he isn’t good at and leaves cesc or wilshere covering for him, which they aren’t as good at so it just messes everything up. He should be told never to get in front of the ball and he could be good enough. As it is, I would spend big to get a disciplined (tactically and positionally, not necessarily with their tackling) defensive midfielder which I think would help us defensively as much as improving the central defence. Personally I would love to see mascherano playing for us but I’m not sure how popular that choice would be.

  8. 3 is all, 10 is all , 20 is all if that is the amount at any given time.

  9. ive always wanted to see mascherano play for us, he is a bullbog and is great at shutting players out of the game. As much as i want to see flamini back, i would take mascherano at second. Him and 30million for cesc would be fine with me, enough to get a quality CB and Striker.

Great game by all the players today especially clichy. It will definently do his contract talks no harm because that was the clichy of old!
As for sir red nose and VDS whinging about owns penalty claim after the game, what about vidic handball that should of resulted in a red (leaving him out of the chelsea game) and a penalty!

Onlt question is where was that arsenal for the second half of the year?

  10. if we aspire to be a club that can win the champions league then I don’t think we should sell any of our best players in order to buy new ones.

I also think flamini could be a good player for us again but Wenger won’t try to sign him back as he left on a free and he would probably be embarassed to pay a transfer fee and make a loss, twice, on the same player.

What’s all this about Flamini? Let’s face it he had one good season for Arsenal and since leaving has hardly set the world of Italian football on fire. After warming the bench for a couple of seasons I don’t see him suddenly blossoming into a new Vieira.

Mascherano? Maybe, but with him in the side our yellow card count will rise and he could become a disciplinary embarrassment.
