Mikel Arteta is convinced Arsenal can maintain their fantastic run of form and claim the Premier League title.
Gunners midfielder Arteta is poised to face his former club Everton when Arsene Wenger’s side host the Toffees in a top flight encounter in north London on Sunday.
Arsenal go into the clash four points clear at the summit after a 2-0 home victory over Hull midweek.
The Goodison outfit enter the fray full of confidence following their 1-0 triumph at Manchester United.
And Spanish star Arteta says the spirit in the dressing room gives him every reason to suspect the Gunners can lift the crown.
He said: “The difference is that we are top of the league, while normally by now we are 10 to 12 points behind whoever is first.
“That is the big difference. Obviously the confidence and atmosphere is different and we want to maintain that.
“As long as you have that quality, the ambition and the togetherness that we have, I think we are in a good position to win the title.”
