The Cup Final & Wenger To Stay?

FA Cup Final
A massive match today for the club and supporters as Arsenal face Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley. Arsenal are clearly underdogs as they face an extremely good team in Chelsea. With Arsenal struggling with injuries and suspensions this is not going to be a game for the faint-hearted.
Let’s hope for a positive result and a chance to celebrate another FA Cup win.
Come on you Gunners!
Team news
Some surprising team news ahead of the FA Cup final is the surprise that David Ospina will start ahead of Petr Cech in the final.
A devastated Cech had picked up a slight knock in training but is deemed fit enough to take a place on the bench.
Ospina has previously been picked as the Cup goalkeeper but many felt that Cech would seem the obvious choice after he played in the semi-final against Manchester City.
The news has worried most fans who would prefer Cech in goal, rather than Ospina who has been prone to some mistakes in the past.
No new news in regards to Shkodran Mustafi who is almost certainly out of the final after not recovering from a concussion. Kieran Gibbs remains a doubt with his thigh injury and a late decision on him may take place.
Wenger set to sign
According to reports and regardless of the result today in the FA Cup final against Chelsea, manager Arsene Wenger will sign a new two-year deal with the club. The new deal could be announced as early as next week.
There would still be a reshuffle in the back room although the position is likely to be low-key and not as a director of football. The new role would take on contracts, logistics and key medical information which will then be given to Wenger to process.
With Stan Kroenke committed to the club, the board feels that keeping Wenger is vitally important for the club’s future.
There may be some changes to the coaching staff but Wenger is extremely loyal to his people so seems unlikely.
Sanchez player of the year
Alexis Sanchez has been voted supporters player of the year ahead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Laurent Koscielny.
Sanchez was the clear winner and deservedly so after his good season, although there was no place for last year’s winner Mesut Ozil.
Chamberlain reveals Sanchez hiding place
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has admitted that Alexis Sanchez lives, sleeps and breathes football and he has a hiding place in training where he goes to practice when Arsene Wenger and the other coaches have told him to rest.
Wenger will give away medal
Manager Arsene Wenger has claimed he will give away is winners medal again should Arsenal win the FA Cup final against Chelsea today.
Wenger claims he does not keep any of his medals and will find someone at the club who did not get a medal and will give his to them.
