The Futures of Perez, Sanchez and Giroud While Bellerin Is Set To Defy Wenger

Perez decision on hold
Lucas Perez agent has claimed the player is only thinking of Arsenal and has not held talks with Deportivo La Coruna. Perez has three years left on his contract and will make a decision on his own future in the summer. Perez has scored seven goals in 21 appearances this season despite his limited playing time.
Wenger on Sanchez
Alexis Sanchez will be staying at the club next season according to manager Arsene Wenger. Wenger claimed that Sanchez will see out his final year of his contract and could even sign a new contract in the summer.
Giroud to Marseille
Marseille are confident of signing Olivier Giroud for £20m this summer. The Frenchman has recently signed a new contract but, Arsenal could be tempted to cash in on the 30-year-old who has found first-team starts hard to come by in recent weeks.
Bellerin could defy Wenger
Full back Hector Bellerin could defy manager Arsene Wenger by playing for Spain this summer in the 2017 European U21 championship. Wenger feels Bellerin is still struggling with an ankle injury and would prefer the defender to stay at home and rest at the end of the season. Bellerin, however, has other ideas and has claimed he will accept a call from Spain if one comes his way. Bellerin himself feels he is 100% fit and would welcome the chance to turn out for Spain.
Early Team News
Arsenal are still without Shkodran Mustafi as well as goalkeeper David Ospina and striker Lucas Perez. Ospina could be back in around ten days. Arsenal face Leicester City on Wednesday in the Premier League in an important match for the club, harbouring an outside chance of a top-four finish. Manager and players all feel the club has to win all of their remaining seven games to have a chance.
Fabinho battle
According to reports in Italy, Arsenal are due to battle Manchester United and Napoli for the signature of Monaco’s Fabinho. With some impressive performances in Ligue 1, the Brazilian has attracted interest from around Europe with the three teams set to battle it out for his signature. Fabinho would cost around £30m.
Van Dijk move
The Telegraph are reporting Arsenal have made a move for Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman would cost in the region of £50m but the club face stiff competition from Chelsea who continue to remain favourites for the player.
