'Him and Saka on the wings': Some Arsenal fans wowed by Hale End talent's latest masterclass

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise Omari Hutchinson for scoring a brace in the Gunners U18s’ victory today.

The 17-year-old attacker has been with Arsenal since the age of 11 and has progressed through the age groups at Hale End.

Hutchinson, who signed his first professional contract in November last year, is known for his technical ability, passing and speed.

He has made 19 appearances for Arsenal’s U18s this season, registering six goals and eight assists.

Ken Gillard’s much-changed charges were in U18 Premier League action against Reading, but got off to a bad start in Berkshire.

Gunners captain Taylor Foran conceded an own goal in the opening minute, before Harvey Maunder doubled the hosts’ advantage four minutes later.

Hutchinson halved the deficit in the 14th minute, netting his first of the day after good work from Joel Ideho.

The former Ajax man then got on the scoresheet himself on the half-hour mark, though Reading retook the lead through Michael Stickland.

Arsenal equalised again just before the hour mark, Henry Jeffcott scoring his first goal for the U18s.

And Hutchinson would go on to have the final say, netting his second of the day from the penalty spot on 74 minutes.

Needless to say, Arsenal fans were impressed with Hutchinson’s efforts on the day:
