Tolisso deal closer
According to reports, Arsenal are edging closer to the possible signing of Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso. The French 22-year-old is keen to strengthen his chances to make the World Cup squad next summer and sees a move away as his best chance to do so.
Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Malaga’s midfielder Pablo Fornals as a possible replacement for Santi Cazorla. The 21-year-old would cost £15m to sign.
One of the lowest turnouts
Arsenal’s Premier League match against Sunderland was one of the lowest turnouts since the club’s move to the Emirates. The club usually only release a figure that relates to tickets sold, however, they also release a figure to the police which shows people through the turnstiles. The game against Sunderland had a figure of around 45,000.
However, reports that this is down to fans wanting Wenger out are slightly wide of the mark. With the club looking extremely unlikely to reach the top four as well as playing against already relegated Sunderland on a Tuesday night, you can understand why the turnout was so poor.
Hulk dreams of Arsenal
30-year-old Brazilian striker, Hulk still has dreams of playing for Arsenal. Hulk has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League and admits that he follows the league and has always supported Arsenal.
Hulk still has three years left on his contract with Shanghai but has not ruled out a move back to European football.
One stumbling block will be Hulk’s massive weekly wage in China, where he is paid £320,000.
Arsenal are interested in Chelsea youngster
According to reports in the Mirror, Arsenal are keeping tabs on Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham.
Abraham scored 23 goals on loan at Bristol City this season but sees his chances at Stamford Bridge limited and may look to move on.
Arsene Wenger is keen to add him to the squad and sees Abraham as a player with large potential.
Aaron Ramsey looks to have recovered from a knock suffered against Sunderland which saw the Welshman limp off 69 minutes into the match.
However, it seems the injury is not that serious and Ramsey will be fit to play against Everton at the weekend.
Koscielny to Marseille
A rumour that won’t go away is Laurent Koscielny potential move back to France as he could join Marseille.
Koscielny has always admitted that he would like to return to France at some point and has said it will be life choices that will decide what happens next in his career.
The 31-year-old has been on Marseille’s radar for a while and this latest response from Koscielny could tempt them to make a bid in the summer.
