Lacazette over Mbappe
Arsenal have prioritized Alexandra Lacazette over Kylian Mbappe as they continue there search for a world class striker. With the club already have had a record bid turned down for Mbappe, they have turned their attention to Lacazette who was set on a move to Atletico Madrid before their transfer embargo was put in place. Lacazette looks set to cost the club around £60m with a bid looking likely.
Ramsey offered new deal
Aaron Ramsey has been offered a pay rise and new deal at the club. The club are looking at introducing a new policy which would see players with two years left on their contract to be offered new deals. This would ensure the club would not be left with the embarrassment they find themselves in with players such as Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs being able to leave the club in the summer as they only have 12 months left on their contract. Arsenal have employed Huss Fahmy from Team Sky as administrator to deal with the on going contract issues including the uncertainty over Ozil and Sanchez.
Sanchez to City
According to reports Manchester City are now the likely destination for want away striker Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez is asking for £420,000 per week which has already priced out a move to Bayern Munich. City remaining extremely keen however, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is adamant the striker will not be sold this summer.
Ospina talks collapse
David Ospina’s transfer to Fenerbahce looks on the verge of collapse as the club’s are still short of what they feel the player is valued at. Fenerbahce seem keen on £3m while Arsenal are looking for more. It leaves Ospina back at square one looking for a club.
My Revenge On Ben Foster
Turan bid
Arsenal have placed a £26.3 transfer bid for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan. The 30 year old is liked by Arsene Wenger, but the deal seems a little short and looks set to be rejected by the Spanish giants.
Giroud needed
Manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated that striker Olivier Giroud is needed at the club and he has no interest in selling him, with West Ham looking at a possible £30m deal. Wenger said that Giroud has a lot of qualities that the club needs and although he is aware Giroud remains frustrated at a lack of starts he remains keen to keep the striker.
