Massive Mbappe Bid & Ozil Set To Stay

Massive Mbappe Bid & Ozil Set To Stay

Arsenal make Mbappe bid
Arsenal have made a £87m bid for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe according to reports. Mbappe has been in tremendous form this season and has attracted interest from every top club in Europe. The 18-year old’s signature is sure to start a bidding war for his services in the next few weeks.
Ozil ready to sign
German contract rebel Mesut Ozil is on the verge of signing a new £280,000 per week contract with the club.
Ozil has not had the best of seasons but his end of season form has greatly improved and manager Arsene Wenger sees him as a vital player. Ozil has rejected previous contracts of late and was looking to be holding out for £300,000 per week. But he now looks set to sign the new offer with an increased weekly wage after there seemed little interest in the midfielder from other clubs.
Lacazette linked again
After his proposed move to Atletico Madrid fell through due to their transfer ban being upheld, Arsenal are once again being linked to Alexandra Lacazette.
The French striker has not been quiet in his desire to play in the Champions League next season which will probably mean Lacazette moves to anyone but Arsenal.
Bellerin set to stay
Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin looks set to stay at the club after manager Arsene Wenger signed a new two-year contract. With Wenger in the past having been frustrated over Barcelona’s continued chasing of players, Wenger is less likely to sell to the Spanish giants.
Cazorla out till November
Santi Cazorla looks set to be out until November at least and miss another chunk of the new season. The Spaniard has struggled with a long-term Achilles injury since last October and has had seven surgeries to try to rectify the injury.
Arsenal had found losing Cazorla a massive blow last season and missed his creativity in the centre of midfield.
Perez leaving in summer
Lucas Perez is certain to leave the club in the summer as he has grown frustrated at his lack of playing time at Arsenal. Perez started just twice in the Premier League with his last performance in an Arsenal shirt back in March against Lincoln City in the FA Cup.
Wenger has claimed he would love to keep Perez but knows that may be difficult due to his lack of playing time.
Tony Adams
Sometimes you need to realize what your strengths are and if they are not coaching or managing, accept that your club you grew up with may just not rate you or want you. I am all for ex-players coming back, but only those that are going to improve the club and make a difference. I am also a huge admirer of Tony Adams and as a kid, he was one of my favourite players. But do us all a favour Tony and stop swiping at the club and the manager. It looks petty and just a way to sell your book.
