Arsene Wenger is keen on signing Monaco winger Thomas Lemar

Wenger has already confirmed he has interest in signing Lemar after he placed a bid of £92 million on transfer deadline day. Monaco agreed terms but it was down to Lemar whether he wanted to move to the Emirates. Lemar quoted: “I don’t have enough time to make my such a vital decision to leave, so, for the time being, I am a Monaco player.” Arsenal fans were fuming that Wenger left it until the last second. However, this time it seems as though Lemar 100% wants a move to Arsenal. Lemar has an Instagram account where he posts images and videos of him, his family, his team etc. Someone had left a comment on one of Lemar’s images saying “Welcome to Arsenal.” Many other people have commented the same thing but this comment was different. It was liked by Thomas Lemar himself! Is this a sign of Lemar wanting a move? Tweet us what you think @ArsenalInsider.

Mesut Ozil scores a stunning volley to win the game for Arsenal and give them the 3 points

There has been a lot of talk about Ozil leaving Arsenal or potentially staying but Ozil didn’t let the gossip get into his head. The German executed what could be one of the goals of the season after the ball fell to him just inside the 18-yard box, Ozil moved back to create more space for himself and hammered the ball into the top right corner past Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot with the magical left-foot we know he has. Many fans are claiming the finish was ‘Zidane like’.

Should Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles start for Arsenal more often now?

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been given a chance to play in the Europa League, Carabao Cup and pre-season friendlies. Arsene Wenger has clearly been impressed with him! Wenger has dropped summer signing Sead Kolasinac for 2 Premier League games in a row for Maitland-Niles to come in. The youngster has kept an impressive 2 clean sheets in his first 2 Premier League starts for the Gunners. Wenger explained: “I believe he is the future. He can play left-back, right-back, central midfield. He has that sense of one against one, he is very strong, very quick and has very quick recovery runs when he comes back.” Fans say they would like to see him play more but in another position.

Is there any chance of catching Man City?

Arsenal are an astonishing 19 points away from the leaders Man City after only 18 games played! It is not even Christmas yet and Man City already look like future champions. They are undefeated in their Premier League campaign so far and Pep Guardiola hopes they can retain their streak. Only time can tell but Arsene Wenger and his man need a REAL miracle if they want to overtake them.

Is Jack Wilshere on his way out?

Arsene Wenger has confirmed he is yet to start contract talks with Arsenal’s star midfielder Jack Wilshere. Wilshere is heavily linked with a move to West Ham after Moyes has admitted he has interest in him. Many fans are frustrated as they thought Wenger had already talked to Jack about him staying. Does this mean this is the end of Jack Wilshere’s time at Arsenal and time for him to move on?
