New Mbappe Offer & Next Season’s Fixtures

Mbappe bid again

According to reports, Arsenal are set to increase their offer for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe to more than £100m plus Olivier Giroud. The 18-year-old looked set to be on his way to Real Madrid. Arsenal had their first bid rejected of £87m, followed by £121.8m after Madrid had offered £118m. With Giroud unhappy at a substitute role, the move makes perfect sense for all involved. Of course, the key is whether Mbappe would turn down a move to Real Madrid and sign for Arsenal who don’t have Champions League football next season.

Cuadrado bid rejected

Arsenal have had a £17.6m bid for Juan Cuadrado rejected by Juventus according to reports. Juventus are holding out for £30m for the 29-year-old who flopped at Chelsea.

Sevilla want Perez

Sevilla have entered the race to sign Arsenal striker Lucas Perez. The striker had a frustrating season and failed to hold down a first team place, despite some impressive performances. Perez cost the club £17m less than a year ago from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.

Sanchez saga

Alexis Sanchez contract saga is still rolling on and looks less likely he will sign a new contract. Arsenal, however, are determined not to sell him to a Premier League club, and if they do sell Sanchez, he will be sold to a club abroad. We may hear more news once the Confederations Cup is over.

Bellerin set to stay

Nacho Monreal says he is almost certain that Hector Bellerin will be staying at the club next season despite major interest from Barcelona. The 22-year-old only signed a six and a half year deal in November and looks happy to stay. Reports had stated Bellerin was torn between the two clubs but now looks set to stay on.

Fixtures

Well it could of been worse. We open up against Leicester City at home and then have a tricky start with Stoke and Liverpool away, followed by Bournemouth at the Emirates and then Chelsea away. Our nemesis month of November looks tough with Manchester City and Burnley away and Tottenham at home although we do finish the month with Huddersfield. However if we are still in the title race come March then the run in is the best of the top six with only Manchester United away a potential tough game. Could it be our year? Let’s all hope so for all our sakes.
