No news on Wenger and Kolasinac a Gunner already?

Wenger’s response on comments
Arsene Wenger said it was unacceptable for Theo Walcott to admit that Crystal Palace ‘wanted it more’ after their disappointing defeat. Wenger did concede that he had told the players the same but, feels that they should not have admitted it in public.
Wenger no news
I am not sure what ‘soon’ means in Arsene Wenger’s book but, for me, it means a day, maybe two, you can even stretch that to a few days, but here we are, weeks later and still no news on Wenger staying or going.
Overmars on list
Ex Arsenal star and current Ajax Director of Football Marc Overmars has said there is probably a list with his name on it but, he is not getting too excited yet. Overmars is staying focused with Ajax and had not so long ago signed a four year contract with them. The Dutchman looks top of a shortlist for the new role of Director of Football at the club.
O’Conner back
Stefan O’Conner is back from his loan spell from Dutch club Maastricht. O’Conner only played in four matches, with the loan spell not working out. He is expected to leave Arsenal in the summer.
Injury update
Arsene Wenger claims Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech are 80% likely to play on Monday against Middlesbrough. Both seem to have recovered from their respective injuries.
Wage structure intact
Manager Arsene Wenger cannot confirm whether Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has been offered £300,000-per-week but, did add the club is the priority and the squad must not be destabilised by money, even for important players.
Kolasinac in
Arsenal are set to sign Schalke’s Bosnian left back Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer in the summer. The 23-year-old has spent his career in Germany but is now set for the Premier League and Arsenal. According to reports, Kolasinac signed a pre contract agreement a few days ago and rejected various European clubs. It looks likely that either Nacho Monreal or Kieran Gibbs could be sold in the summer.
Barkley move
Everton’s Ross Barkley is being targeted by Arsenal as a possible replacement for Mesut Ozil if the German decides to leaves in the summer. With Barkley also stalling on a new contract the move may be possible, with Ronald Koeman demanding Barkley make a decision on his future.
Valverde now linked
Ernesto Valverde is the latest name linked to becoming the next Arsenal manager according to recent reports. Valverde was favourite for the Barcelona job, but having been asked about his next club he replied ‘we’ll see what happens’. Valverde is currently manager of La Liga side Athletic Bilbao.
