Tomas Rosicky admits he is thoroughly enjoying being part of Arsenal’s very own Fun Boy Three.
Rosicky says playing alongside the likes of Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla is a real joy.
The Czech Republic star played a part in the Guunners’ 2-0 victory over Liverpool to take Arsene Wenger’s table-toppers five points clear at the Premier League summit.
And Rosicky said: “It’s fun to play with players like Ozil and Cazorla,. They can pass the ball so quickly and creatively. I think you can see we have fun on the pitch – if you have that it’s great.
“We needed this result to react positively after the negative result against Chelsea. It was a great game, an intense game from both sides and obviously we are happy to win so it’s very pleasant.
“It’s great to be five points clear, no doubt about it, but for me it’s too soon, the season is very long. Of course we would like to stay there on top of the league, it’s a good feeling to be there but it’s too soon, it doesn’t mean a lot at this time. But it’s not a bad feeling I have to admit and I would like to stay there.”
Rosicky returns to his former club when Arsenal face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday.
And the attacker says the encounter will be one of special significance for him.
He added: “It will definitely be special because I spent five and a half years there and in the 14 years I’ve played professional football, I’ve played for just three teams.
“I spent five years there, won the league there and played in the Uefa Cup final there so obviously I have a lot of attachments and it will be a special game for me.”
