Arsenal are on the verge of making a bid for unsettled Real Madrid star James Rodriquez. The club look set to offer £50m for the midfielder who has found first team football hard to come by.
Giroud to West Ham
According to reports, Olivier Giroud’s unhappiness at Arsenal has put West Ham on alert and would be interested in the 30-year-old. The striker is valued at £20m and had mentioned last week that he will not settle for a place on the bench like last season.
Mbappe not coming
According to Arsene Wenger he does not believe that Kylian Mbappe will sign for the club. Arsenal had an initial bid rejected by Monaco for the 18-year-old and with Spanish giants Real Madrid now entering the race, it looks highly unlikely the youngster will sign for Arsenal.
Leicester City wantaway star Riyad Mahrez has dropped a massive hint to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to come and get him. After Wenger praised the player, Mahrez returned the compliment explaining it was an honour to receive compliments from such a big manager in world football. Mahrez added that there has been no offer so far. Leicester City have agreed to let Mahrez go in the summer if the price is right.
Aleksandr Golovin has been linked with a £10m move to Arsenal this summer. The 21-year-old midfielder has been in excellent form for CSKA Moscow and has attracted the interest of Arsenal.
Koscielny may leave
Laurent Koscielny has not played down rumours he is set to leave Arsenal and move to Marseille. Koscielny admitted that he has always supported Marseille and said: “when a mythical club like Marseille contact you, it is good”.
The Frenchman did add he has no idea if he will sign for them.
Gnabry to Bayern
Serge Gnabry will not be making a move back to Arsenal after he signed for Bayern Munich. The talented German winger had a good season with Werder Bremen and Bayern moved quickly to ensure his signature.
Onyekuru set to join Hammers
West Ham look set to sign Arsenal target Henry Onyekuru. It was thought Arsenal looked favorites to sign the striker but the player seems set on a move to West Ham. Hopefully for Arsenal, this means they are targeting more high-profile strikers.
Arsenal are struggling to ensure youngster Chris Willock signs a new contract with Manchester City, Everton, Celtic and Borussia Dortmund all set to swoop. The 19-year-old winger had a good season for Arsenal in the Premier League 2 scoring three goals and eight assists in 19 matches. Arsenal have until June 30th to complete talks before his contract expires.
Arsenal release four
Arsenal will release Yaya Sanogo, Stefan O’Conner, Kristopher da Graca and Kostas Pileas. All four will leave the club at the end of their contracts in the summer.
