Arsenal have confirmed that Nikolaj Moller has left the club for FC Viktoria Koln on loan for the season.

The Gunners announced on their official website that the striker will spend the entirety of next season with the third-tier German side. Moller joined Arsenal last year from Malmo.

The 19-year-old talent played exclusively for the club’s youth sides last season. And Moller impressed alongside Folarian Balogun. Indeed, the striker hit eight goals in all competitions for Arsenal.

The striker is one of the Gunners’ top youth talents. However, Moller is yet to play first-team football, and a move to Viktoria Koln will be a helpful move for the youngster.

Indeed, the 3. Liga side are one of the favourites to gain promotion to 2. Bundesliga this season, and Moller can make a splash with the German side if he impresses.

And on social media, supporters were delighted that Moller had secured a loan move to play first-team football.

The striker could develop into a star for Arsenal, with the Swede being compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovich.
