Report: £100,000k-a-week Arsenal star eyeing summer exit; has two proposals on the table

Sead Kolasinac is reportedly favouring a transfer to Italy this summer, with the defender having two proposals on the table already.

According to CalcioMercato, Napoli and Lazio both have made offers for the Arsenal left-back, who is likely to leave this transfer window. The defender reportedly has a weekly wage of £100,000-a-week.

Kolasinac spent the second half of last season on loan with Bundesliga side Schalke 04, along with Shkodran Mustafi. However, the fullback was unable to help the German giants avoid the drop as they ended the season bottom of the table.

Kolasinac transfer one of many this summer

Arsenal are likely to sell many players this window in an attempt to trim down the squad. As well as Kolasinac, Football London report that Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi and Konstantinos Mavropanos are all close to leaving the club.

As well as shipping off the deadwood, Arsenal will be making new signings this summer. A backup for Kieran Tierney is likely to be brought in during the window. The Scottish defender was the only left-back in the senior team following Kolasinac’s move to Schalke.

Arsenal have started the transfer window in a predictably slow fashion. Despite plenty of rumours of players being signed and moved on, next-to-no action has actually been made this summer.

Yet selling Kolasinac will be an ideal way to kick off the summer clear-out. The defender is clearly unwanted at the club. And with multiple teams interested in the left-back, it should be an easy transfer to sanction for Arsenal.

With Kolasinac arriving at Arsenal for free in 2017, there is even more incentive to ship the Bosnian off. Indeed, even selling him for just £1m would be impressive business for the Gunners when you take into account his high weekly wage.
