PSG Confident of Luring Wenger Back to France

The wealthy Parisian outfit’s directors have purportedly been claiming that they have convinced Wenger of ending his 17-year association with the London club this summer and move back to his home country.
It was thought that Wenger would quit his Gunners position when his current deal expires in the summer of 2014. However, PSG’s Qatari owners were recently told by Ancelotti that he would not be staying at the helm after this season, and therefore, they have increased their efforts to lure Wenger to Parc des Princes.

Gunners Chasing another Southampton Midfielder
Arsenal are planning to raid Southampton once again by launching a £10million bid for their French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin at the end of the season. (The Sun)
The Gunners have gotten fed up with Abou Diaby’s poor fitness record and have finally decided to replace him with his 23-year-old countryman, who has had a stellar season with the Saints.
If the deal goes through, Schneiderlin would become the third Southampton player to be signed by Arsenal in recent years.

Fabregas Could Be On the Market This Summer – Report
Barcelona could make Cesc Fabregas available for transfer this summer in order to finance moves for some other targets, according to The Daily Star.
The 25-year-old Spaniard, who left Arsenal for his hometown club two years ago in a £35 million deal, has struggled to hold down a place in Barca’s starting line-up due to high competition.
The Blaugrana were recently humbled 4-0 by Bayern Munich, and they have purportedly decided to cash in on Fabregas if a suitable offer arrives.
If an important offer for Cesc arrives we will study the situation,” an unnamed Barcelona insider is quoted as saying by the paper.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Gunners will be interested in bringing him back to Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal Target Dreaming Of Real Move
Arsenal transfer target and Sevilla midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia has revealed that his dream is to play for Real Madrid.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger recently confirmed his interest in the 20-year-old Frenchman, but the player says that he would prefer a move to Santiago Bernabeu over everything else.
In a recent interview with a French TV program, Kondogbia said: “My preference? Real Madrid has been my dream since I was a small boy. It is always great to see that clubs are following you and want you. On the Real Madrid thing that would be a dream come true. But it is only a rumour at the moment. With that type of team I could play regularly in the Champions League.”

RVP Was Right To Leave Arsenal – Evra
Patrice Evra says that Robin van Persie’s Premier League triumph with Manchester United proves that he was right to leave Arsenal last summer.
The 29-year-old Dutchman left the Gunners in a £22million deal and was easily United’s best player in their title-winning campaign. Sunday’s game was the first time he returned to Emirates Stadium with his new club, and as expected, he was booed by the Gooners throughout the game.
While the hostile reception he received wasn’t anything surprising, his teammate Evra feels he didn’t deserve to be treated that way.
Evra said: “He showed them that he hasn’t made the wrong choice. It was a long time that he didn’t win the league. He has come to Manchester United and won the league.
“He did a good job for Arsenal and I was really disappointed for him. I think he felt it as well. To take that penalty he showed what a world-class, top player he is. He kept his nerves down to score that penalty and I am happy for him.”
