Petr Cech – 6.3
Didn’t have the worst game but made a crucial error in not saving Firmino’s fairly central shot as he helped Liverpool equalise at 3-3.
Hector Bellerin – 6.8
Bellerin didn’t have the best game overall but did well to get back into the game with a well-placed cross for Alexis to nod home. Other than that it was more of the same
Laurent Koscielny – 5.8
I don’t know what has been going on with Koscielny recently but it has to stop. More silly mistakes yesterday including a pass across the backline and a slip which almost gifted Liverpool could’ve been very costly for Arsenal.
Nacho Monreal – 6.2
Monreal had an okay performance but didn’t do too much before coming off at halftime due to injury.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 7.8
Another great performance from the 20-year-old. Yet again playing at left back, he showed discipline when coming back to defend as well as being confident enough to put a foot in when he needed to. A very solid performance.
Jack Wilshere – 7.2
Playing in midfield, Wilshere grew into the game as it went on. Into the second half he was finding pockets of space to exploit well and as the game opened up, it lent itself to his game in midfield.
Granit Xhaka – 6.9
It was a bit of a mixed night for Xhaka. Most of the time on the ball he wasn’t that great as he lost possession multiple times, however he always seemed to do well when hunting the ball back. And of course, he brought us level with that amazing strike from range in an amazing spell for us.
Alex Iwobi – 6.5
Didn’t really make a difference on the pitch last night as he wasn’t too involved in the final third but did well in terms of ball retention.
Mesut Ozil – 7.6
Throughout the match, Ozil was trying to fashion chances and in the second half one came true. A brilliant one-two with Alexandre Lacazette was finished expertly by the German by knocking the ball into the ground and over the keeper for his second goal in as many Premier League games.
Alexis Sanchez – 7.3
Last night, Alexis was like a different man. He seemed to have shaken off his attitude of the last few weeks and just played football. It was nice to see him appreciating efforts of his teammates as well as trying to make something happen himself. He also played a crucial part in the comeback by sneaking past Joe Gomez to head our first goal of the night.
Alexandre Lacazette – 7.0
A tough night for the Frenchman. Not much service was given to the Frenchman despite all his off-the-ball runs but that didn’t stop him from getting involved. Various times he was involved in link-up-play in and around the box, the most notable time when he played an inch-perfect backheel into the path of Ozil who went on to put us ahead at 3-2.
Shkodran Mustafi – 6.8
Coming on at halftime, Mustafi did an okay job but was at fault for Liverpool’s second goal as he allowed Salah to get his shot off to early and deflect off him and into the goal. Other than that he did well and chose his moments to engage the offence well.
Danny Welbeck – 6.0
Didn’t do much when on.
Theo Walcott – 6.4
Showed some good flashes when subbed on but didn’t have too much time to make an impact.
