Arsenal Entertain West Ham

Arsenal entertain West Ham United this afternoon in a game which sees 18-year old star Jack Wilishire complete his three match ban.
Kieron Gibbs joined a long list of players on Arsenal’s treatment table after getting a knock at Newcastle which will see him out of action for the next few weeks.
Arsene Wenger said in his pre-match conference:
“It was a lesson learned and it confirms to me that if you are not 100 per cent focused, you will drop points against any team in this league,” he said. “In fairness to my team, West Brom is the only game since the start of the season where we didn’t perform well and that is credit to them. But as well, it shows that, just once, if you are not completely there you are caught. I think we have got the lesson now.
“We focus highly on tomorrow and go step-by-step to try to put every energy in every single game. The success of our season is as well how intelligent we are and tomorrow is a good opportunity to show it Let’s go for it 100 per cent.”
Meanwhile West Ham are hoping to kick-start their season under Avram Grant after a disastrous start has seen them sitting at the bottom of the Premier League.
Grant will be looking towards Scott Parker to spearhead the Irons revival, who were the first league team to win at the Emirates back in April 2007.
Grant said of his players:
“I think we till try to do the right things.  It depends because we are talking so much about tacktics, and it is the right thing to do. But sometimes things happen on the pitch that you didn’t expect.”
The form guide would certinaly point to a home win today, but with it being another one of those “London Derbys” you can never write West Ham off.
