Fabregas is confident to be at World Cup 2010

Spain, champion of the last Euro 2008 ranks in the second place of the FIFA world rankings over top teams such as: Argentina, Italy, Holland and Portugal and with 28 scores in the qualifying campaign Spain is one of the favorites to win this world championship.
The “Roja” will play its first game against Switzerland in June 16th and are favored by a 1½ in the World Cup Spread.
However, something to consider is that Fabregas and Andres Iniesta along with Fernando Torres are the biggest concerns for Coach Vicente Del Bosque just one month before the start of the World Cup 2010.
Arsenal’s great figure Cesc Fabregas, is still in Barcelona recovering from a crack in the fibula but fans, media and teammates expect to see the Spaniard player recover to arrive in good form to South Africa 2010 World Cup.
This Monday, the Royal Spanish Football Federation said the player has developed very positively of his injury, after undergoing a radiological test to check the status of his fracture.
At Arsenal, the young player has started to make a career of success and has shown good performances as well as his great potential in the field. Fabregas is considered by many as a luxury replacement for the Spanish team, however it is expected that this may become the World Cup for the gunner.
Focused on South Africa and despite his absence in recent games of Premier League, Fabregas maintains the illusion to arrive in good condition to World Cup on next June 11th and is expected that the 22 years old midfielder plays at the opening match.
Fabregas will join the Spanish national team on May 24th and there are still hopes that the “Gunner” begins the participation with his national squad five days later when Spain faces Saudi Arabia in a friendly match.
Finally, the Arsenal top player has been crossing through difficult moments after his injury, watching from the stands of the Camp Nou how his team was eliminated from Champions League and without playing crucial games for Arsenal’s team in the Premier League.
However, World Cup 2010 can be his biggest opportunity to show his potential to the world and there is still time to recover and to be at a good level for his national team.
