It almost looks like Tottenham are just there to make Arsenal fans feel better about themselves during our difficult times.
Mikel Arteta and all Arsenal fans were disappointed with our result against Olympiacos last night, but all of us forgot everything about what happened at the Emirates after hearing some excellent news from Croatia.
My Revenge On Ben Foster
Tottenham went to Zagreb to face Dinamo who were two goals down after the first-leg. It looked a formality for Jose Mourinho’s men, who had maintained the same score line even at half-time.
The Croatian giants came out after the break and absolutely battered Tottenham. They scored two to take the game to extra time and managed to put another one in the back of the net to knock Spurs out of the competition.
Arsenal fans, predictably, loved what Dinamo Zagreb managed to achieve last night. It really is amazing to see Spurs outdo themselves year after year, and the fact that it’s Mourinho on the receiving end makes it even funnier.
Every Dinamo Zagreb player was jumping up and down like a kid after the result. For one player, however, the result meant a lot more than any of his teammates – even though he didn’t feature last night.
Lifelong Gooner Robbie Burton left Arsenal to join Dinamo Zagreb 13 months ago.
The young midfielder joined us as a six-year-old, and despite not featuring for the senior side, he still has very fond memories of his time here.
Burton would’ve absolutely loved knocking Tottenham out of Europe last night. He took to Twitter after the game and Arsenal fans will absolutely love his message on the social media platform.
