Daniel Ek has become a household name for Arsenal supporters in recent weeks. The Swedish billionaire has joined forces with Gunners legends Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry to buy the club from the Kroenkes.

Henry confirmed the same on Sky Sports earlier this week. The legendary Frenchman publicly backed Ek’s approach and has promised supporters that they would bring the DNA of the club back.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

That is music to Gooners’ ears. Almost every Arsenal fan on the planet is sick and tired of the Kroenkes. We want him gone ASAP, and the fact that we have a potential saviour in Ek, along with Henry, Bergkamp and Vieira, is exciting news.

If that wasn’t exciting enough for Arsenal supporters, French outlet L’Equipe have come out with a story that will make Ek gain more supporters than he has already got as he attempts to take over the club.

Arsene Wenger could join Daniel Ek

The report claims that legendary Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be the latest member to join forces with Ek. The Frenchman could now be a part of the consortium that already includes three of his greatest ever players, and that is bad news for the Kroenkes.

Silent Stan and co are already under immense pressure to walk away. Ek’s public interest combined with the three Arsenal legends’ involvement in the deal have made fans extremely excited, and with Wenger now reportedly involved, things could get really serious.

Of course, we have no idea if Wenger is actually involved. There is no official confirmation just yet, but having someone like him on board would be the wise thing to do as there’s nobody in the world who knows as much about football as him.

Arsenal fans are absolutely delighted with the news.
